Here I am!!… Manila I mean. I arrived approx. 1830 hours and my cousin with his wife and their friend (a club singer I think, hehe) fetch me with their Honda City (wow!!.. But guess what Honda City in The Phils only cost approx 40K Malaysian Ringgit!!! CHEAP!!!).

Am happy to meet my cousin as he’s the first person in the family (mom’s side) that I met personally. The fact that I didn’t know was that it took them approx 5 to 6 hours just to get to Clark Airport from their place in Sta Rosa, Laguna (Somewhere in the southern part and Clark is up north). And another approx 5 - 6 hours back to their place. I felt guilty actually but I can’t do anything as I am not familiar with the area or geography or even the distances from one place to another.

We passed by part of Manila and Makati I think.. hehe. But I can’t really appreciate it yet coz its night time and am so tired and nearly reached the “landing” mode…hahahaha.. Btw, we did stop at Pizza Hut for late dinner… Along the journey, I took time to look thru my window, seeing new things (especially shop names that are not familiar back in Malaysia), transportation, the people etc2…. And I ask a lot in the car, hopefully they are not irritated by me…hehehehe…

Arrived my cousin’s home approx 2300 hours and am a lil shock of how small the houses around the area including his, but it’s good for a small family. I just love the neighbourhood. I met my 2 nephews and they are really cute (1 is 10 yo i think and the youngest is 5 yo, hehe). Well, I hv to “land” early because I have a plane to catch tomorrow. To Zamboanga, 1 1/2 flight and I’ll be flying with Philippine Airlines, the 2nd foreign airline in my life after Brunei Airline.

Btw, I wrote this blog today, 5th October 2008.. and trying to recall all events happened on the day I arrived. I can’t find time to go online when I arrived here.. I have a lot to share to you guys. A lot!!..haha…. I’ll be back….

At last!!!.. The day that I have long waited… the day that I will be traveling or shall I say going back to where I belong, The Philippines…hehehe… I have longed for this and the time has come.

I will be flying today via AK502 departing at 1535 hours. Actually the original departure is at 1420 hours…sigh….

I just don’t know what to expect actually. I don’t know how Manila looks like, I don’t know the size of Manila. I don’t have a clue at all coz I didn’t take time to read or surf the net to get infos. Its like “come what may”..hehe…

All I know about Manila is, it is a home for more that 11 million people (11 Million???!!!!). I actually did visit a bookstore and take time to read Lonely Planet book about Manila. Read lang kase it will cost me RM100 just to buy the book…

At least, I do have a relative in Manila who can fetch me from Clark and I’ll be staying at their place (I don’t know how they look like. Hehe). Then on Tuesday 30th, I’ll be flying to Zamboanga using Philippine Airline (Can’t wait what this national airline has to offer)…

Well that’s it for now friends… I’ll for sure update you guys for the next part, that is when am in Manila na..hehe… Please pray for my journey…..
